At last we have settled down in our new house in a very desirable Neighbourhood in Cloverdale and entered into a new chapter of life in Canada as immigrants. We have to thank Bob and Linda for all these. Without them, it would never have been that trouble-free and smooth, which is very important to both of us who work full-time. We are very lucky that we met Bob and Linda thru one of our friends. Thru out the whole process, Bob and Linda were very patient and professional. They have given us advise on choosing where to buy so that we can enjoy a good living environment when we are living in the house but will also get good resale value in future. This is a very valuable piece of advice for immigrants like us because we don’t know much about the mainstream Canadian society. We had a hard time selling our condo in Coquitlam thru another realtor because none of us realized that the area where our condo is located has been hitting front pages on mainstream media for a while because we are so out of touch with the mainstream society. On top of this, Bob and Linda have also arranged insurance and mortgage for us. Compared to what our friends have, we definitely got a very good deal on mortgage rate. Thanks to Bob’s connection in the industry. As for insurance, we don’t carry life insurance. And it is very expensive to take out life insurance at our age too. Bob and Linda patiently explained to us what sort of risks we are facing at our age and with our kind of employment and health condition, and hence what insurance policies are available in the market to cover these risks.
